I'm incredibly grateful to the voters of Leon County for re-electing me to a third term as your Property Appraiser! It’s truly an honor to serve, and I’m excited to continue innovating and delivering exceptional customer service.

By now, you should have received your Notice of Proposed Property Taxes (“TRIM” notice) that was mailed in late August. My team and I have been assisting property owners in understanding their notices. The Tax Collector’s office will mail tax bills in early November.

The end of summer brought a season of accolades for our office. The International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) announced the recertification of our Certificate of Excellence in Assessment Administration. Originally certified in 2012, this achievement reflects our dedication to maintaining the highest standards in assessment. Additionally, our community outreach efforts were recognized with two recent awards.

I also had the opportunity to conduct residential damage assessments alongside my team in the days following Hurricane Helene’s impact on our area. While we were spared much of the storm’s devastation, some of our neighbors are still recovering from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Please remember to stay safe and follow all safety advisories.
